Cabin Air Filter

The cabin air filter is located in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system of a vehicle. A good filter traps airborne contaminants and all pollution, keeping the air pure and clean for passengers.
A high quality filter captures particles and maintains air pressure and continuous flow in the vehicle. It will have a large capacity for holding allergens and other debris, including small particles like pollen and diesel carbon.
On the other hand, clogged filters lead to noisy or ineffective air conditioning systems, reduce fuel efficiency and causes condensation.
It is recommended to replace CAF every 10,000km. However, if there is reduced airflow through the climate control system, persistent bad odors, reduced power output from the engine or window fogging, filters should immediately be replaced.
Replacement intervals vary. Kindly refer to the recommendations in your manufacturer’s manual and your vehicle’s maintenance records.
